35mm Projection Workshop Held with Academy Board 24/25

Congratulations to our new Academy Board of Directors for successfully completing our projection workshop 'An Introduction to 35mm Presentation!'

We are so proud of Ross, Natasha, Fraser, and Dylan for their enthusiasm and professionalism! At the Broadway we aim to preserve and protect the lost art of analogue projection, and train up a new generation of projectionists to ensure the knowledge of the past survives in Prestwick!

Hosted by our chair and chief projectionist Guy Walker, and supported by our house engineer Keith and apprentice-in-training Kyle, our workshops will grow in the future with opportunities for the pupils to expand their knowledge, and members of our community to also get hands on with the magic behind the big screen!

Our relationship with Prestwick Academy continues to grow too! With exciting developments soon-to-be announced and collaborations with multiple departments in the works. Thank you once again to our new Academy Board for pioneering a new era for cinema in our little corner of Ayrshire!
